Tonga Ross-Ma'u returns to the Encinitas Library with a new lineup to present a fresh set of original contemporary jazz music at the Encinitas Library. Presented in partnership with Ruthless Hippies, Carlsbad French Pastry Cafe, Aztec Brewery, and Le Papagayo.

Kainga Music’s annual steel drum concert at the Moonlight Amphitheatre in Vista will be celebrating A Community In Rhythm 2017 - arrangements of popular songs on steel drums in a family-fun, friends, and community atmosphere.

This transformative experience celebrating great music, community building, and over 300 performers from the various Kainga Music school and community programs along with our special guests and performances including Niki J Crawford, MO’ Rhythm School of Percussion, and Mission Vista High School Steel Drum Program, as well as some of the top musicians in San Diego.

Award-winning musician Steph Johnson and her all-star band return to MoMM for a concert and VIP Party. 2011 San Diego Music Awards Best Jazz Artist nominee and winner of the 2010 San Diego Music Award for Best Jazz Album, Steph has become a staple in the San Diego music scene.

Steph recently released her 4th studio album, Music is Art, with GRAMMY Award-winning producer Kamau Kenyatta. She will be joined by some of San Diego’s finest musicians.

Steph Johnson Holiday Show @ Bread & Salt

Performing original music that is soulful and evocative, the evening will also include traditional holiday songs, as well as feature the Voices of Our City Choir. A portion of your ticket purchase goes to support the choir and Amikas.org, an organization focused on housing homeless women, children and veterans.

This award winning band is preceded by an art exhibit, live sets by DJ Sachamo, dance and performance artists that are both interactive and visually captivating. The VIP ticket holders will have access to all this as well as great food, wine, desserts and complimentary chair massages in the VIP quart yard between 6 and 7PM. Regular doors are at 7PM. Complimentary photos with a fabulous traditional Santa Claus will be offered from 6 to 7:25PM (first come, first served). Show starts at 7:30PM.
